Polymeric reverse phase chromatography (RPC) resins serve as valuable alternatives to silica-based RPC media, offering notable advantages such as alkali resistance, extended lifespan, and minimized peak-tailing for basic compounds. These resins are available in a wide range of monodisperse varieties, suitable for applications from submicron UPLC and HPLC packing to medium- and low-pressure FPLC packing. The polymeric RPC resin portfolio includes five main types: UniPS, UniPMM, UniPSN, UniPSA, and NM. These provide a broad selection of hydrophobicity and selectivity to meet various purification needs. Among them, the UniPS series is particularly popular in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. For example, UniPS 10-300 is commonly used for insulin and peptide purification, UniPS 30-300 is widely applied in oligonucleotide RPC purification, and UniPS 40-300 has proven effective in Vancomycin purification processes.
