The disposable piston moves in the plastic capillary and directly contacts with the liquid. The positive wiping action of the piston on the capillary wall ensures complete distribution without drops. Considering the disposable capillary and piston, the positive displacement absolutely eliminates the cross contamination of aerosol, sample or pipette.
