Description

Monodispersed bare silica particles are high-purity chromatographic media designed for analytical analysis and preparative purification of active pharmaceutical ingredients and other high-value substances. These particles feature uniform particle size, perfectly spherical shape, and exceptional mechanical strength, ensuring easy column packing, high efficiency, and low back pressure during chromatographic operations.
Ultra-wide pore size silica particles (UniSil UWP) are available in sizes ranging from 500Å to 2000Å, leveraging a unique pore size control technique that ensures uniform through-pore structures. With pore diameters of 1000Å and 2000Å, UniSil UWP media are particularly suitable for separating large molecules such as proteins, oligonucleotides, and other biomolecules that are challenging to separate using conventional narrow-pore media.
Additionally, high-pore-volume silica particles (UniSil HP series) are offered, featuring pore volumes greater than 1.1 ml/g, tailored for BioSEC applications to support biomolecular separations.
Silica particles with sizes of 50 µm and larger are also available for applications such as solid-phase extraction (SPE) and oligonucleotide synthesis. For instance, 50 µm silica particles with pore sizes of 500Å, 1000Å, and 1500Å have been successfully utilized as supports in oligonucleotide synthesis, providing versatile solutions for various research and industrial needs.
