Our ProPlus and ProPlus LX PhyTip columns are used for efficient automated purification of IgG antibodies. ProPlus (MabSelect Sure™, Cytiva) and ProPlus LX (MabSelect Sure™LX, Cytiva) are affinity media engineered versions of Protein A affinity ligands that exhibit both Protein A and Protein G properties. MabSelect™Sure™ medium facilitates targeted binding of IgGs, high-capacity binding of IgGs from low-concentration samples, and increased selectivity for mouse IgGs. In some cases, the recovery rate of MabSelect™SuRe™ was 3-5 times higher than that of Protein G.

PhyNexus, now part of Biotage, developed PhyTip® columns in 2002 and has supported researchers in automated protein purification since then. PhyTip columns purify samples through repeated back and forth cycles, a process known as dual-flow chromatography that allows for complete binding interactions during each purification step.

IgGs recovery 70 - 90%

Sample concentration and purification in one
Our unique packed resin bed column design results in the entire sample being bound to a small resin bed volume. Purified samples can be eluted in small volumes, resulting in highly concentrated samples.

IgG purification for 15 minutes
Efficient purification via PhyTip columns allows for a complete purification protocol of 96 samples in as little as 15 minutes.

Our Protein A PhyTip columns employ dual-flow chromatography, are validated with real protein samples, and are transferable to any automated liquid handling system.
