Immobilized protein A/G consists of covalently immobilized recombinant protein A/G ligands on 6% highly cross-linked agarose. Dynamic binding capacity will depend on several factors such as target antibody, flow rate, etc.

Protein A/G binds well to IgG subclasses, but not to IgA, IgM or serum albumin. This makes Protein A/G an excellent tool for the purification and detection of monoclonal antibodies of the IgG subclass without interference from IgA, IgM and serum albumin. A subclass of monoclonal individuals may have a stronger affinity for chimeric protein A/G than protein A or protein G.

Immobilized Protein A/G 1ml Spin Column Kit is suitable for small-scale affinity purification of antibodies from various samples. Each 1ml chromatographic column can purify 1-13mg IgG from 0.5-2ml serum or other samples.

Immobilized Protein A/G 0.2ml spin column kit is suitable for small-scale affinity purification of antibodies from various samples. Each 0.2ml chromatographic column can purify 0.1-1mg IgG from 25-500 μl serum or other samples.

Specific binding and elution buffers can also be used.
