Protein A is currently the most widely used affinity medium for antibody purification.

Both protein A and protein G bind to the Fc region of IgG antibodies and have different selectivities for IgG subtypes. Therefore, PhyTip columns for Protein a and Protein G can be used to purify IgG antibodies and IgG fragments containing the Fc region.

Our Protein A PhyTip columns demonstrate the ability to extract functional IgG antibodies of high purity from varying levels of background proteins due to their high binding affinity and high capacity.

Our Protein A PhyTip columns feature a validated dual-flow chromatography protocol for purification of IgGs that can be transferred to any automated liquid handling system. Our buffer kit contains all the buffers needed for the purification protocol.
