Near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy has become a valuable analytical technique, especially in the fields of materials research, chemistry and photomedicine. PTI can provide powerful NIR functions, either as an independent research-grade fluorometer, or as an upgraded version of PTI's UV-VIS steady-state spectrofluorometer. QuantaMaster™ 60 provides the potential for future upgrades in fluorescence and phosphorescence lifetime, which cannot be achieved with InGaAS' QuantaMaster™ 50 NIR.
