The Recombinant Human 2B4 Protein manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for immune cell activation. Natural Killer Cell Receptor 2B4, also known as I-type NK cell receptor protein 2B4 (NKR2B4 or h2B4), Signaling Lymphocytic Activation Molecule 4 (SLAMF4), Signaling Lymphocytic Activation Molecule 4, and CD antigen CD244, is a member of the SLAM (Signaling Lymphocytic Activation Molecule) family. NKR2B4/CD244 consists of two immunoglobulin-like (Ig-like) domains. CD244 is expressed in the spleen, peripheral blood leukocytes (PBL), followed by the lung, liver, testis, and small intestine. It can interact with CD48. Upon phosphorylation, CD244 can recruit PTPN11/SHP-2 and SH2D1A/SAP. SLAMF4 regulates the interaction of other receptor-ligand pairs to enhance leukocyte activity. CD244/2B4 is the only heterogeneous receptor in the SLAM family. Storage Information: The lyophilized (freeze-dried) form can be stored at 4°C for 24 months, while the reconstituted liquid can be stored at -20°C for 6-12 months, with a recommendation to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Specification
Expression Host: Human HEK293 cells Source: Human Synonyms: CD244, 2B4, SLAMF4, NKR2B4, NAIL, h2B4 Protein Sequence: The DNA sequence encodes human 2B4 (UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot: Q9BZW8.2), expressed with a His tag at the C-terminus. Molecular Weight: Recombinant human 2B4 contains 200 amino acids, with a predicted theoretical molecular weight of 23.9 kD. Purity: ≥95%, confirmed by SDS-PAGE gel and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis. Endotoxin: <0.1 EU/μg Biological Activity: The binding activity was determined using functional ELISA. Immobilized recombinant human 2B4 (FC tag) at a concentration of 10 µg/mL (100 µL/well) can bind to recombinant human CD48 in a linear binding range of 0.1-5 µg/mL. Purification Method: Chromatographic purification Composition: Sterile PBS (pH 7.4) freeze-dried powder containing 6% mannitol.
