The Recombinant Human EGFR/HER1 Protein, hFc Tag manufactured by Yisheng is suitable for studying EGFR-mediated signaling and cellular functions in cell therapy.
The EGFR subfamily of receptor tyrosine kinases consists of EGFR, ErbB2, ErbB3, and ErbB4, all being type I transmembrane glycoproteins. EGFR binds a subset of the EGF family ligands, inducing EGFR homodimerization or heterodimerization with ErbB2, resulting in cell signaling. EGFR signaling regulates multiple biological functions, and it is overexpressed in various tumors, making it a target for anti-cancer drugs.

Source: Recombinant Human EGFR/HER1 Protein is expressed from HEK293 Cells with hFc tag at the C-terminal. It contains Leu25-Ser645.
Molecular Weight: Approximately 95.2 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 140-160 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Purity: > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC.
Activity: ELISA Data: Immobilized Human EGF at 2μg/ml (100μl/well) on the plate. Dose response curve for Human EGFR, hFc Tag with the EC50 of 81.0ng/ml determined by ELISA.
Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Formulation: Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 5% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution: Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL is recommended (usually we use 1 mg/mL solution for lyophilization). Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
