The epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) subfamily of receptor tyrosine kinases consists of EGFR (HER1), ErbB2, ErbB3, and ErbB4. EGFRVIII is a tumor-specific variant not found in normal tissues. It is highly tumorigenic, leading to an aggressive tumor phenotype characterized by increased invasion, proliferation, angiogenesis, and evasion of apoptosis.

Molecular Weight
The protein has a predicted MW of 40.28 kDa. And it migrates as 55-70 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

Reconstitution
