The Recombinant Human EpCAM/TROP1 (hFc Tag) manufactured by Yisheng is suitable for targeting EpCAM-expressing cells in cancer therapy.
Epithelial Cellular Adhesion Molecule (EpCAM), also known as KS1/4, gp40, GA733-2, 17-1A, and TROP‑1, is a 40 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein expressed in various tissues during embryonic development and in adult epithelial tissues. It functions as a homophilic cell adhesion molecule, forming complexes with other proteins and regulating cell adhesion. EpCAM is upregulated in actively proliferating epithelial tissues, during adult liver regeneration, and in epithelial cell-derived carcinomas.

Source: Recombinant Human EpCAM/TROP1 Protein is expressed from HEK293 Cells with hFc tag at the C-terminal. It contains Gln24-Lys245.
Molecular Weight: Approximately 54.2 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 60-70 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Purity: > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC.
Activity: ELISA Data: Immobilized Human EpCAM, hFc Tag at 1μg/ml (100μl/well) on the plate. Dose response curve for Biotinylated Anti-EpCAM Antibody, hFc Tag with the EC50 of 18.9ng/ml determined by ELISA.
Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Formulation: Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 5% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution: Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL is recommended (usually we use 1 mg/mL solution for lyophilization). Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
