The Recombinant Human Her2/ErbB2 (hFc Tag) manufactured by Yisheng is suitable for targeting HER2-positive cells in cell therapy.
ErbB2, also referred to as Neu and Her2 (human epidermal growth factor receptor 2), belongs to the ErbB family of tyrosine kinase receptors, serving as a receptor for the epidermal growth factor (EGF) family. It is expressed in epithelial cells and often over-expressed in breast carcinomas. Unlike other ErbB family members, ErbB2 lacks identified ligands but forms higher affinity signaling complexes by heterodimerizing with ErbB1 (EGFR), ErbB3, and ErbB4. Its kinase domain initiates tyrosine phosphorylation signaling, and ErbB2's cytoplasmic domain associates with beta-catenin and plakoglobin. The ErbB2-mediated signal transduction involves phosphoinositide 3-kinase. ErbB2 is involved in development, cancer, neuromuscular junction communication, and cell growth regulation.

Source: Recombinant Human Her2/ErbB2 Protein is expressed from HEK293 Cells with hFc tag at the C-terminal. It contains Thr23-Thr652.
Molecular Weight: The protein has a predicted MW of 96.1 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 100-120 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity: > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC
Activity: ELISA Data: Immobilized Human Her2, hFc Tag at 1μg/ml (100μl/well) on the plate. Dose response curve for Anti-Her2 Antibody, hFc Tag with the EC50 of 86.1ng/ml determined by ELISA.
Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Formulation: Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 5% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution: Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL is recommended (usually we use 1 mg/mL solution for lyophilization). Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
