Description

The Recombinant Human ROR1 Protein manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for cell signaling and cancer research.
Receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor 1 (ROR1), also known as Neurotrophic Tyrosine Kinase, Receptor-related 1 (NTRKR1), belongs to the protein kinase superfamily, tyrosine protein kinase family, and ROR subfamily. ROR1 consists of 1 FZ (frizzled) domain, 1 immunoglobulin-like C2-type (Ig-like C2-type) domain, 1 kringle domain, and 1 protein kinase domain. ROR1 is highly expressed in the early stages of embryonic development, with a significant decrease in expression around day 16. In adult tissues, ROR1 is expressed at very low levels. The short isoform of ROR1 is strongly expressed in the central nervous system of fetuses and adults, as well as in various human cancers, including those originating from the central nervous system or the neural crest of the peripheral nervous system (PNS). ROR1 can interact with casein kinase 1 epsilon (CK1ε), activating phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K)-mediated Akt phosphorylation and binding to cAMP response element-binding protein (CREB), enhancing tumor cell growth.
The lyophilized form can be stored at 4℃ for 24 months, and the reconstituted liquid can be stored at -20℃ for 6-12 months, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
