The Recombinant Human TNFα Protein manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for pro-inflammatory effects and immune response regulation.
Tumor Necrosis Factor-Alpha (TNF-α) is a homotrimeric protein, with each subunit having a molecular weight of 17 kDa. It plays a pivotal role in growth regulation, differentiation, inflammatory responses, viral replication, tumor development, autoimmune diseases, as well as infections caused by viruses, bacteria, fungi, and parasites. TNF-α is associated with various conditions, including hemorrhagic necrosis in tumor induction, tumor growth and metastasis, viral replication, septic shock, fever, inflammation, Crohn's disease, rheumatoid arthritis, organ transplant rejection, and other autoimmune diseases. TNF-α is a potent lymphokine with cytotoxic effects in numerous tumor cells and specific target cells.
The lyophilized product can be stored at 2-8°C for 24 months. For reconstitution, it can be dissolved in injectable water, saline solution, culture medium, or PBS. After dissolution, it should be aliquoted, with a recommended storage period of 6 months at -20°C and 12 months at -80°C. When diluting, ensure a final concentration of no less than 100 μg/mL and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
