Description

The Recombinant Murine M-CSF Protein manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for growth and differentiation of monocytes and macrophages.
Macrophage Colony-Stimulating Factor (M-CSF) is a potent hematopoietic growth factor produced by various cell types, including lymphocytes, monocytes, fibroblasts, endothelial cells, myoblasts, and osteoblasts. It serves as a crucial regulatory factor for the proliferation, differentiation, and survival of blood monocytes, tissue macrophages, and their respective progenitor cells. M-CSF plays a significant role in modulating dermal thickness and fertility. Clinically, M-CSF finds applications in the treatment of infections, malignant tumors, and atherosclerosis. It also facilitates the recovery of hematopoietic function following bone marrow transplantation.
Human M-CSF exhibits reactivity in the mouse system, but its molecules do not display activity in human cells.
The lyophilized product can be stored at 2-8°C for 24 months. If reconstitution is required, it can be dissolved in injectable water, saline solution, culture medium, or PBS. Following dissolution, it should be aliquoted, with a recommended storage period of 6 months at -20°C and 12 months at -80°C. When diluting, ensure a final concentration of no less than 100μg/mL and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
