Description

RUL 421 can reliably determine the refractoriness under load (RUL, according to ISO 1893) of refractory ceramic products to check the use of high temperature resistant products in high temperature applications. By reducing the load on the test piece to negligible values (as compared to the surface of the test piece), RUL 421 can carry out accurate dilatometer measurements on large and even inhomogeneous samples at temperatures up to 1700°C.
