Description

The SDC™ (Steroid/Drug/Compound) Immobilization Kit is designed for immobilizing steroids, drugs and compounds lacking primary amines, sulfhydryls, carbonyls and other common coupling groups to solid agarose supports for affinity purification. The kit uses ourimdadpa (diaminodipropylamine) resin, which can bind steroids, drugs and compounds via active hydrogen.

This coupling uses the Mannich reaction described as the condensation of formaldehyde with ammonia, the salt form of ammonia, and another active hydrogen containing compound 1. The SDC™ immobilization kit replaces ammonia with primary amines on DADPA, and the active hydrogen is provided by the steroid, drug or compound to be coupled.

Suitable for generating five 2ml affinity columns.
