The latest member of the Spectrafuge™ series, the 24D, has precise digital microprocessor control. The centrifuge has many functions, but its price is low enough to make it the most economical high-performance microcentrifuge on the market. Spectrafuge 24D comes with a new design, easy to use 24 x 1.5 ml rotor. This innovative rotor places the tubes on the platform and the user can easily hold the top of them. The powerful brushless motor rapidly accelerates the rotor to a maximum speed of 13,300rpm / 16,000 x g. The control is very simple and contains only two knobs. The speed knob is used to set the speed in rpm or g force. Press the knob to switch the display between rpm and rcf. Turn the timer knob to set the time parameter, press it to start and stop the operation of the machine. The settings of the last run are kept in memory, allowing repeated centrifugation without having to reset the parameters. The device operates very quietly, coolly, and has a small footprint.
