Thin Walled PCR Tube manufactured by Alpha Laboratories has ultra thin walls to ensure efficient thermal transfer and is manufactured to very exacting standards to offer dimensional uniformity throughout the sidewall and conical bottom, which ensures even contact with the thermal cycler temperature block, delivering consistently superior well-to-well thermal transfer and rapid cycle times. The wall thickness is 0.20mm compared to thicker 0.25mm of many competitor's PCR tubes. The top surface of the tubes are designed such that the cap is guided into a positive and secure sealing position, with an audible snap providing assurance that the tubes are fully closed. The tubes are manufactured from approved medical grade virgin polypropylene.
