Tidal^TM Forward Osmosis, model Tidal^TM is manufactured by Koch Membrane Systems. Tidal^TM Forward Osmosis is suitable for applications with relatively low suspended solids, such as concentration of juices (grape, pineapple,various berry juices, orange, tomato and other), coffee (cold brew), food colorants,milk and dairy products, pressure and heat sensitive pharmaceutical ingredients. TIDAL forward osmosis technology can achieve product concentration without using high-pressure reverse osmosis or thermal evaporation processes. Gentle low pressure and low temperature processing conditions maintain natural performance and provide the highest quality concentrated products.
TIDAL forward osmosis spiral element can be used as a spiral wound element for sanitary and hard wrap. The products are available in 8" or 4" sizes to fit the entire product flow rate range. The filter element is designed to be installed in an easy-to-use hygienic housing. These elements utilize highly repellent hydrophilic membranes to ensure maximum retention of valuable product ingredients and reduce fouling.
