The optical design of the V-750 UV-Visible Spectrophotometer uses precision dual-beam optics with variable spectral bandwidth. The highly sensitive PMT detector can provide accurate and repeatable measurement results for both low and high concentration samples. By controlling the high voltage applied to the PMT, the dynode feedback provides a wider dynamic range than other UV-Visible spectrophotometers. For high-resolution measurements (such as gas phase and gas phase spectroscopy), the spectral bandwidth can be set as 0.1 nm. The special low stray light slit setting optimizes the light image on the monochromator and provides increased linearity of up to 5 absorbance units.
