The Vertical Electrophoresis System NVES-200 is a dual gel casting device capable of performing vertical gel electrophoresis on mini-format gels. The crystalline polycarbonate composite gel casting material improves reproducibility of results and precision of operation. The base unit consists of an electrophoresis module, casting holder and glass plate, and gel spacers to eliminate leakage and keep the gel intact throughout the casting process. It is supported by gel combs of different thicknesses to pass wells at equidistant spacing to avoid interference from adjacent loaded samples.
