Vivaspin® Ultrafiltration Spin Columns (15ml, 100kDa MWCO, PES), model FUF158-2pcs is manufactured by Sartorius. This product is a disposable ultrafiltration device for concentrating, desalting or buffer replacement of liquid biological samples by centrifugation. The maximum sample volume is 15ml (horizontal rotor) and the Molecular Weight Cutoff (MWCO) is 100kDa. The material of the ultrafiltration tube membrane is hydrophilic polyethersulfone (PES). The ultrafiltration tube is designed with dual vertical filtration membranes and smooth inner wall, which can achieve the fastest sample concentration and the highest recovery rate. The dead volume design suitable for pipette recovery can avoid the drying of the filtrate and help the recovery of highly concentrated samples. This ultrafiltration tube is suitable for use on a 50ml conical bottom centrifuge.
