Description

Automatic Liquid Nitrogen Level Control System in Dewar Bottle:
In many cryogenic applications, such as cryogenic shrink mounting of drive shafts and sleeves, freezing of components or biological samples, use of liquid nitrogen as refrigerant in cold traps, calibration of sensors in liquid nitrogen, etc. It is important to keep the liquid nitrogen level at a certain level, WIGGENS liquid nitrogen level control system can meet this demand. When using the liquid nitrogen level control system, two sensors for high liquid level and low liquid level in the Dewar bottle are used for measurement-level signal feedback, and the liquid nitrogen in the Dewar bottle can maintain a basically stable liquid level. The liquid level control system provided by WIGGENS can basically be used with WIGGENS liquid nitrogen containers.

Working principle of liquid nitrogen level control system:
If the level drops below the low sensor, a signal will be sent to the control system, which will open the 24v solenoid valve between the siphon for transferring liquid nitrogen and the liquid nitrogen storage container. Through the self-increasing pressure in the container , the liquid nitrogen will be pushed out of the container and into the Dewar bottle after passing through the transfer line Z. The liquid nitrogen level floats up until the liquid level touches the high level sensor. The high level sensor will detect the temperature decrease, transmit the signal to the control system, and then cut off the power supply of the solenoid valve to close the solenoid valve. The liquid nitrogen level will not open again until it is lower than the low level sensor again.

Automatic liquid nitrogen level control unit (for manual sample low temperature shrinkage test):
The low temperature shrinkage properties of parts are used for manual or automatic joint installation. During the shrinking process, it is important to ensure adequate and continuous cooling. Liquid nitrogen is often used as a refrigerant to cool components such as shrink drive shafts or connecting sleeves.
