Analysis of L-Anserine by Parallel Reaction Monitor Technology (CAT#: STEM-MT-2553-LGZ)

Introduction

Anserine (β-alonyl-1-methyll-histidine, Anserine) is a highly stable, water-soluble dipeptide that alleviates hyperuricemia by promoting uric acid excretion. It occurs naturally in skeletal muscle tissue and brain tissue of vertebrates, has a PK value of about 7.1, and remains intact at low PH.




Principle

PRM (Parallel Reaction Monitor) is an ion monitoring technology based on high resolution and high precision mass spectrometry (such as Orbitrap series). Compared with the traditional SRM/MRM technology, PRM technology replaces the four-bar mass analyzer used to collect secondary information with a higher resolution and higher mass accuracy analyzer, and realizes the transformation from the detection of target ion pairs to the detection of all target ion fragments.
