Features

1. Universal system platform to handle gel sandwiches, agarose and polyacrylamide gels, membranes, microplates, and even microarrays.
2. Powerful excitation sources and innovative high-quality confocal optics allow sensitive detection of low-abundance targets.
3. Red, green and blue excitation wavelengths and a wide selection of emission filters enable imaging of a wide variety of fluorophores.
4. Automatic four-color fluorescence scanning, multiplexing of multiple targets in the same sample is allowed, analysis accuracy is guaranteed, throughput is increased, and time is saved.
5. Storage phosphor technology provides high-resolution imaging and precise quantification of 3H, 14C, 125I, 32P, 33P, 35S and other ionizing radiation sources.
6. High sensitivity optics enable direct chemiluminescence imaging without intermediate exposure on film or screen.
7. Provides optimized detection of Cy2, Cy3, and Cy5 CyDye DIGE fluorescent minimal and saturating dyes, enabling visualization of up to three differently labeled samples on one gel.
8. An abnormal signal-to-noise ratio increases the number of statistically significant differences detected.
9. Consistent spotlight illumination produces high-quality uniform images and photobleaching is reduced.
10. The glass plate between the gel scans prevents drying and shrinking and can be run further and rescanned if needed.
