The IRT-5000 microscope is used in conjunction with FT/IR-4000 or FT/IR-6000 series spectrometers, combining micro and macro FTIR measurements to provide the most advanced microscopy and imaging system. The system is usually used for material identification and forensic analysis in mid-infrared, or for more basic research in near-infrared and far-infrared.
