2100Q Portable Turbidimeter, 0-1000 NTU, model 2100Q is manufactured by Hach. The 2100Q portable turbidity meter uses the scattering method to measure turbidity, that is, the turbidity tester emits a beam of parallel light to pass through the sample, and when it encounters particles, it will change the direction of light propagation and form scattering. Scattered light from particles in water is detected from a direction at 90° to the incident light. The degree of scattering is proportional to the number of suspended particles.
