Interlocking Performance (ILP) technology is a major advance in synthetic splinting technology. Ortho-Glass^® Comfort Splinting System features a patented interlocking single layer to significantly increase flexibility and durability while maitaining the similar strength to traditional, multi-layered splinting systems, eliminating the risk of wrinkling and delaminating under stress which is common in multi-layered splints. The ILP Technology also makes Ortho-Glass^® Comfort Splinting System much more radiolucent than multi-layered fiberglass splints, thereby improving the clarity of x-ray images.
