Freezing point is an important index to characterize the low temperature performance of jet fuel. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) is a commonly used method to determine the freezing point of liquids. Its principle is to freeze the sample first, and then heat up to melt it, and the temperature at which the crystallization has just melted is the freezing point. The differential scanning calorimetry is convenient, fast and accurate for determining the freezing point of jet fuel.
