Analysis of Neuropilin-1 (Human) by MSD Hypersensitive Multi-Factor Electrochemiluminescence Analyzer (CAT#: STEM-MB-0460-LGZ)

Introduction

Neuropilins (NRPs) are single-transmembrane, non-tyrosine kinase surface glycoproteins that exist in all vertebrates and are highly conserved across species. Two homologous NRP isoforms, NRP1 and NRP2, encoded by different genes, are known to exist, and these two NRPs were originally discovered as neuronal adhesion molecules. They were later found to be related to vascular biology, and normal embryonic vascular development requires NRP1 and NRP2 to participate in the formation of small lymphatic vessels and capillaries. Studies in the past 10 years have shown that NRP is a multifunctional protein involved in various biological processes besides neural and vascular development, among which NRP1 plays a major role in immunity and tumorigenesis.

Principle

MSD electrochemiluminescence technology is mainly based on ultra-sensitive multi-factor electrochemiluminescence analyzer MES0 Sector600 or Quickplex SQ120. Through dot matrix technology, the detection of 10 indicators per well can be realized in the 96-hole graphite electrode plate. It can also be customized to realize the screening detection of 100 index wells in a 24-well plate.

Applications

Oncology & Cancer, Immunology/Inflammation

Procedure

1. Coat the capture antibody on the well plate.
2. Add samples/calibrators.
3. Add detection antibody.
4. Read the plate and analyze the data.

Materials

• Sample Type: Plasma, Serum
