Analysis of HCC-4/CCL16 (Human) by MSD Hypersensitive Multi-Factor Electrochemiluminescence Analyzer (CAT#: STEM-MB-0241-LGZ)

Introduction

CCL16, also known as CC chemokine 4, liver expression chemokine (LEC) and monotactin-1 (MTN-1), is a small cytokine in the CC chemokine family and a group of chemokines located on human chromosome 17. CCL16 is also a ligand for the histamine H4 receptor. CCL16 chemotaxis monocytes and lymphocytes, but not neutrophils. Recent studies have shown that CCL16 increases tumor rejection, macrophage antigen presentation, and angiogenic activity of vascular endothelial cells. On the other hand, CCL16 may also enhance the anticancer effects of cytotoxic T cells and dendritic cell (DC) lymphocytes.

Principle

MSD electrochemiluminescence technology is mainly based on ultra-sensitive multi-factor electrochemiluminescence analyzer MES0 Sector600 or Quickplex SQ120. Through dot matrix technology, the detection of 10 indicators per well can be realized in the 96-hole graphite electrode plate. It can also be customized to realize the screening detection of 100 index wells in a 24-well plate.

Applications

Cytokines & Chemokines, Immunology/Inflammation

Procedure

1. Coat the capture antibody on the well plate.
2. Add samples/calibrators.
3. Add detection antibody.
4. Read the plate and analyze the data.

Materials

• Sample Type: Plasma, Serum
