The is designed for maximum comfort and air flow. With this advanced padding, Ortho-Glass^® Comfort Pre-Cut Splint System features 3D knitted padding to improve air circulation, thereby reducing discomfort and the risk of dangerous skin macerations and other complications.
Ortho-Glass^® Comfort Pre-Cut Splint System features a patented interlocking single layer to significantly increase flexibility and durability, allowing easy conforming to more difficult contours without wrinkling, while maitaining the similar strength to traditional, multi-layered splinting systems, eliminating the risk of wrinkling and delaminating under stress which is common in multi-layered splints. The Interlocking Performance (ILP) technology also makes Ortho-Glass^® Comfort Pre-Cut Splint System much more radiolucent than multi-layered fiberglass splints, thereby improving the clarity of x-ray images.
