DeRoyal DeROM^® Dynamic Elbow Splint, Large Right, DeRoyal (CAT#: STEM-MRA-2498-LC)

The DeRoyal DeROM^® Dynamic Elbow Splints manufactured by DeRoyal are ideal for soft tissue contractures, range of motion (ROM) limitations, or joint stiffness resulting from trauma, immobilization, or neurological disorders. Elbow Splints Combine flexion and extension in one unit, making it ideal for using as a dynamic, static, or static progressive splint. Dynamic splinting applies a low amount of force to the affected joint for a prolonged period of time with little or no discomfort to the patient to achieve a permanent stretch of the soft tissue and permanent restoration of the joint's ROM. Static progressive splinting uses the high load brief stretch (HLBS) modality, combining static stretching with stress relaxation to stretch or elongate the contracted tissue. This method applies a moderate amount of force to the affected joint for a short period of time, reducing overall therapy time.
Dynamic Elbow Splints feature an integrated adjustment tool and tension release lever for easy adjustement of tension. Dynamic Elbow Splints also feature a Tension Limiting Control (TLC) knob to prohibit excessive force and range of motion stops to allow for static progressive splinting. DeROM^® Elbow is available for use with the left or right arm. Malleable cuffs, two bicep circumference size options, and adjustable forearm length allow for truly customized fit. Bicep and forearm cuffs feature replaceable soft foam with self-wicking liners for patient comfort, which can be purchased separately. DeRoyal Dynamic Elbow Splints are latex-free and washable with non-abrasive cleaner (straps may be machine washed).
