Absorbmax™ Film, Non-sterile, 76.2 mm × 114.3 mm, Excel Scientific (CAT#: STEM-L-0137-LKN)

Absorbmax™ Film, model BK-50 is manufactured by Excel Scientific. This product is a 200 micron thick black vinyl adhesive film, which can be used with 96 well, 384 well and 1536 well black microplates. The membrane can be applied to the top or bottom of the plate. The light blocking and absorption properties of absorbmax films make them very suitable for protecting sensitive samples during storage. In fluorescence applications, they can reduce stray light and cross hole crosstalk. For fluorescent applications with top reading, use the bottom transparent hole to coat the black film on the bottom of the plate. For fluorescence read from the bottom, use a black film as the top seal.
