Accelerating Rate Calorimeter ARC 254 (ARC®), NETZSCH-Gerätebau GmbH (CAT#: STEM-LE-0603-LC)

Highlights

Since the fastest tracking speed is up to 200 K/min, the data is more reliable and the application range is wider
The patented VariPhi® technology enables low phi testing even if the sample size is small and safe. A variety of operating modes on ARC®254 can effectively detect exothermic and endothermic transitions and sample Cp
It is controlled by the powerful Proteus® software, which can be used to operate all other NETZSCH thermal analysis instruments in the laboratory.

Cat Number: STEM-LE-0603-LC

Description

The Accelerating Rate Calorimeter ARC 254 (ARC®254) provides adiabatic heat data in a safe, controlled laboratory environment. This information helps to have a good understanding of the basic physical processes involved. Based on this understanding, various safe operating systems and programs can be developed to mitigate the harm caused by reactive systems. Accelerating Rate Calorimeter ARC 254 (ARC®254) measures temperature and pressure simultaneously. The sealed pressure system also allows users to evaluate the effect of different gas atmospheres on the thermal stability of the system. Gaseous reaction products can be analyzed at the end of the experiment to help identify and understand the reaction mechanism involved. The Accelerating Rate Calorimeter ARC 254 (ARC®254) is designed to simulate the process of a large-scale reaction on a small scale. The test material is heated from the outside in a fixed volume until exothermic activity is detected. Place the sample in an insulated environment without losing energy, then the calorimeter measures and records the temperature and pressure of the sample
