The AFS® system incorporates complementary water purification technology; complete pretreatment, intelligent reverse osmosis (RO), UV germicidal lamp treatment, and a final 0.22 µm filter to ensure reliable and stable water quality. The water produced by the system complies with guidelines of the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute® (CLSI) for the Clinical Laboratory Reagent Water (CLRW). Based on the daily demand, different production flows rates (8, 16 and 24 L/h) are available.
