AireGard ES (Energy Saver) NU-140 Vertical Laminar Airflow Workstation uses the latest technology in laminar flow design, materials and manufacturing processes. The cleaning workstation can be used in places where clean air flow according to ISO 14644-1 is required to prepare injectable drugs, intravenous fluids, tissue culture, optics, microelectronics, etc. The clean bench should not be used for any work involving biological agents assigned a risk level of 1 to 4 (classified by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) in Atlanta, Georgia), because "vertical flow" cannot provide personnel with protection against these germs. The clean bench can only be used to protect the product from contamination. The clean bench can be optionally equipped with a base to place the work surface at 30 inches (762 mm) or 36 inches (914 mm).
