AlumaSeal® II Film, Non-sterile, Excel Scientific (CAT#: STEM-L-1179-LKN)

The AlumaSeal® II Film from Excel Scientific is a soft aluminum foil film designed for the sealing of PCR plates to minimize evaporation and vapor loss during thermal cycling. The film can be easily pierced using a multi-channel pipette or an automatic metal probe to directly recover sample without the risk of aerosols, cross-contamination or obvious adhesive bonding. The 38μm non-permeable flexible aluminum foil film eliminates the need for heat sealing equipment or mats during thermal cycling. Proprietary adhesives can withstand harsh chemicals, solvents and reagents. Two end labels for easy and accurate positioning and labeling.
