The Biomek® FXP Stacker 10 is manufactured by Beckman Coulter. It enables ten-position stacking of the stacker conveyor. Accommodates capped and capless AP96 / AP384 pipette holders, deep well plates, microplate stacks, modular reservoirs, and microplates.
It provides external supply and storage of microplates and deep-well plates for Multimek™ 96 automated 96-channel pipettes, increasing unattended operation for reagent addition and plate replication applications. The stacker conveyor comes in two configurations and can be used on the left or right side of the Multimek ™ 96 table. If requirements change, the carousel can be modified on-site by trained Beckman Coulter engineers to operate on the back of the Multimek™ 96. Up to two carousels can be used on a single instrument, each with up to four stackers. The HD stacker can stack about 45 microwell plates or 15 deep well plates. The stacker 10 and the stacker 20 have discrete shelves for printing plates. The stacker 20 accommodates 20 microwell plates, and the stacker 10 accommodates 10 deep well plates, containers and / or microwell plates.
