Kyphon Balloon Kyphoplasty (CAT#: AM-IA-0303-LC)

Using orthopedic balloons, Kyphon ™ Balloon Kyphoplasty restores vertebral height and correct angular deformities due to vertebral compression fractures (VCF) which is caused by osteoporosis, cancer or benign lesions. Deflate and remove the balloon after reduction. The resulting cavity (void) controls the deposition of Kyphon bone cement, which helps produce internal castings and stabilize the fracture.
