The Labnet Excel™ Electronic 8-Channel Pipette, 2-20 µL, Labnet is a multifunctional device, which has the operation modes of standard and reverse pipette, multiple and sequential pipette, sample mixing and continuous dilution. All functions are easy to program, with one hand on a well positioned display and keyboard. All electric piston drive and automatic calibration ensure excellent accuracy and reproducibility. A removable, rechargeable lithium-ion battery ensures many hours of performance between charges.
The main body of this electronic pipette has been designed to fit comfortably in the right or left hand. Besides being light in weight, the device is also very balanced. The plunger button on the back of the instrument can be started by moving the index finger slightly, reducing the risk of repetitive strain. The ejector at the top of the pipette is easy to slide under slight pressure of the thumb. A small, rechargeable lithium-ion battery powers Labnet Excel™ pipettes. A full charge only takes 8 hours, lasting 2000 pipette cycles. To ensure that new batteries are always available, separate chargers and extra batteries are available. It also provides a 3-position linear support, which can place up to three single channel or multi-channel pipettes, and a turntable support, which can place up to six single channel or multi-channel pipettes.
