Monosyn® (CAT#: AM-MP-0038-LC)

Monosyn® is a sterile monofilament surgical suture which is absorbable. It is made from a copolymer composed of 72% glycolide, 14% ε-caprolactone, and 14% trimethyl carbonate. Two colors including violet dyed with the dyestuff D&C Violet No 2 and beige are available for Monosyn®. Monosyn® complies with all regulations of the European Pharmacopoeia and the United States Pharmacopoeia about sterile, synthetic, absorbable monofilament sutures, excluding small variations in diameter of suture.
