APEX® Tethered Screw-Cap, With O-Ring, Blue, Non-Sterile, Pack of 500, Alpha Laboratories (CAT#: STEM-SPL-1487-LC)

APEX® Tethered Screw-Cap manufactured by Alpha Laboratories is a polypropylene flat cap that incorporates a silicone O-Ring for a secure, leak-proof seal. The cap is attached with a polypropylene tether ring that allows the cap to be affixed to the microcentrifuge tube. The outer diameter of tether ring is 13.21mm and inner diameter is 10.92mm The distance from the centre of the ring to the centre of the cap is 25.4mm. The caps can be used within the temperature range -196°C to 121°C, making them suitable for boiling applications and storage of frozen samples. However they should not be immersed in liquid nitrogen. APEX® Tethered Screw-Caps are compatible with the APEX® Screw-Cap Microcentrifuge Tubes. They are internally threaded and a ¾ turn provides a tight and secure seal between the cap and microcentrifuge tube.
