Description

The Beckman Coulter Air Centrifuge is an air-driven, ultra-compact ultracentrifuge designed for a variety of applications. With its outstanding ability to provide an easy and fast method to remove chylomicrons, the Airfuge system brings reliable results for lipid clarification and eliminates the need for sending.

Even as a compact unit, the Airfuge air-driven centrifuge delivers results in a fraction of the time compared to larger units. The combination of high gravity and short path length yields very short run times. For advanced speed readout, optional digital speed readout accessory.

Beckman Airfuge Ultracentrifuges are designed to simplify centrifugation applications. Operating around ambient temperature, the unit reaches top speed in just 30 seconds and decelerates smoothly to keep sample contents separated. Additionally, the centrifuge offers up to 5 hours of timed operation with a hold position for longer runs.

Beckman Coulter Airfuge air-driven ultracentrifuges also offer enhanced versatility with a variety of rotors. It can be used with batch rotors for particles with large particles, electron microscope rotors to deposit very small volumes, and four fixed-angle rotors to generate the high speeds and forces required to perform a variety of tasks.
