The Beckman Optima™ TLX Ultracentrifuge is a tabletop model designed for a variety of high-speed applications. In addition to operator safety, Beckman ultracentrifugation systems prioritize maximum performance capabilities, with forces of 657,000 x grams and sample volumes ranging from 0.2 mL to 5.1 mL per tube.
The Beckman Optima™ TLX centrifuge enhances operator convenience. Equipped with an easy-to-use control panel, Beckman centrifuges also feature a temperature control system, self-priming vacuum system and programmable memory that can store up to 10 different profiles or more.
The control panel for the Optima™ Ultracentrifugation System is located on the top of the machine for convenience, easy access and visibility. During operation, actual conditions are displayed on the control panel, including speed, temperature and time. Thermoelectric temperature control systems use forced air and do not require any coolant.
Beckman Optima™ TLX centrifuges also have safety features. The centrifuge features unbalance-resistant, direct vacuum encapsulation, air-cooled drive, and steel chamber doors with electromechanical door locking mechanisms. When manually closed, the door locks automatically.
