Description

The manufacturer of Bio-Rad Universal Hood II Gel Documentation System is Bio-Rad Laboratories. Model is Universal Hood II. The Biorad Universal Hood II Gel Doc is an easy-to-use high-performance system that captures images in real time, enabling more accurate positioning and focusing of the sample. The Gel Doc system combines a compact darkroom, UV transillumination workstation, CCD camera, motorized zoom lens, and user-friendly Quantity One software for recording and quantifying ethidium bromide and other fluorophore-stained gels. The iris, zoom and focus of the lens can be manipulated on-screen through the Quantity One software or the instrument control panel. Images acquired with Gel Doc can be quickly optimized, annotated, analyzed and printed using Biorad's intuitive software.
