The Chip DSC sensor integrates all the basic components of the DSC, furnace, sensor and electronic equipment in a small housing. The chip device includes a heater and a temperature sensor in a chemically inert ceramic arrangement with metallic heater and temperature sensor. This arrangement achieves excellent repeatability thanks to its low mass outstanding temperature control and heating rate up to 1000°C/min. The integrated sensor is easy for users to replace and is inexpensive. The integrated design of the chip sensor can provide excellent raw data, which can be directly analyzed without pre-processing or post-processing of heat flow data.
