Description

The DGA glass syringes from Cadence Science are used to take samples of mineral oil in a transformer. Different types of faults will produce different gases, and chemical analysis (dissolved gas analysis) of these gases can provide diagnostic information about the condition of the transformer. DGA syringes are custom fit (matched numbered) to create a tight fit between the barrel and plunger. The barrels are frosted.
