The Drew Scientific 2280 fully automated CBC system uses multi-dimensional optical scattering from a stabilized laser diode light source to optimize the measurement of WBC differentials. Resistors are also used for counting (WBC RBC Plt) and sizing (Plt RBC). This is combined with the light absorbance of methemoglobin for hemoglobin measurements (an optional cyanide-free reagent is also available) The technology can perform a complete complete blood count and 5-part differential in less than 1 minute. The Drew Scientific 2280 Fully Automated CBC System also displays: 2 x Leukocyte Scattergram Plt Histogram RBC Histogram. The Drew Scientific 2280 fully automated CBC system has a throughput of at least 80 samples per hour in direct sampling mode.
